About Giovanna: Ciao!  Let me introduce myself.  I am Giovanna; an outgoing, energetic, Italian girl with a (really nice) camera!  I love family, friends, volleyball, camping, the ocean, and experiencing new cultures.  I am a wife, a mother, a chef, a cat lover, a world traveler, an adventurer at heart, and a photographer! For as long as I can remember, I have loved the way it feels to look through a camera and capture moments in time.  At age 17, I began apprenticing under an award winning Wedding Photographer and Portrait Artist.  This experience sealed the deal on my love affair with photography.  I then began my own journey to becoming a Portrait Artist. In 1998 Photography by Giovanna was created, and since that time, I have had the honor to document people and families at their most breathtaking moments. I believe that the most beautiful portraits are created when a person feels at ease; as if they are with a friend.  This is how I treat each of my clients; as a friend.  As a result, I am able to capture people at their most precious moments. My portrait style is a fusion of classic glamour and modern flair.  Every portrait I design is as unique as the individuals themselves.  As a lover of the outdoors, whenever possible, I shoot in beautiful, natural environments using only the natural, ambient light.  I love creating portraits that inspire my clients and can be passed on for generations to come.  Let’s chat and get to know one another.  I’d love to be your photographer!
